FAQs

1. Why is an OT a great person to have on your team?

  • An occupational therapist (OT) is a rehabilitation professional who specializes in helping clients engage in meaningful tasks or roles (i.e. occupations).  What is important to you, is important to me!
  • Non-medication based solutions!
  • We will track progress! This is always exciting.
  • We work with you and for you but never do anything to you.

2. What is different about working with a “holisitic” OT?

A mentor of mine said, “The issues are in the tissues.” And they are!  Back pain can be just a pulled muscle, but is often much more. We will address your whole picture and never just focus on ‘the issue’.

All my experience and training have led me to believe that wellness must be addressed in the body, mind and heart.

3. What should I wear for my session?

  • Men: shorts or swim trunks.
  • Women: a sports bra and shorts or a bikini.
  • You will remain partially dressed for your sessions.

4. What form of payments are accepted?

  • Cash, check or Venmo.
  • I can provide a reciept for reimbursement from your FSA/HSA account.
  • No tipping please! Referring your friends and family is the best tip!
